Refund and Returns Policy

1. Late Fees

Delays in non-availability for us to collect the dress will incur additional (late) fees of ZAR 200 per day. The late return fee will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your security fee (if applicable).

2. Serviceable Condition of Dress

When we collect the dress, it should be in good condition, without any alterations, stains, or damages. Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in deductions from the security fee. Smoking while wearing the dress is strictly prohibited. If the dress is damaged, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the security fee. If the dress is lost or irreparably damaged, the security fee will be forfeited. We will hold the security fee and refund it to you upon the dress’s return in acceptable condition, as determined by us. Please note that the rental fee charged for a dress is non-refundable. You are NOT responsible for professional cleaning of the dress; please do not clean the dress yourself in any way. If we do not receive back the dress at all, you will have to pay the full price of the dress.

3. Full Refund

If you cancel your rental at least 7 days before the start date, you will get a full refund of the rental fee. For example, if your rental starts on January 15, you must cancel by January 8 (or earlier) to receive the full refund.

4. Cancellation Fee

If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, you will not receive a full refund. Instead, a fee of ZAR 1,000 will be deducted. For example, if your rental starts on January 15 and you cancel on January 10 or later, ZAR 1,000 will be charged as a cancellation fee.

5. Liability

We are not liable for any injuries, allergies, or damages that occur while the dress is rented. You take full responsibility for the dress from the moment it is received until it is returned.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any disagreements related to this agreement will be resolved through mediation. If mediation with a neutral party fails, the next step will be legal action, and the issue will be taken to court.

7. Shipping Returns

Returns for dress hire with Mia Dress Rentals (Pty) Ltd are not permitted once the rental period begins. To ensure a seamless experience, customers are encouraged to carefully review the size guide provided. Returns are accepted within three days of the booking date or as per any prior agreement made, exclusively handled by Mia Dress Rentals (Pty) Ltd. Accuracy in size selection is key to avoid any issues.
