This website is run by MIA DRESS RENTALS (PTY) LTD Company based in South Africa trading with registration number (2025/033328/07)

To finalize your booking, please note that we require confirmation of your proof of residence. This verification process is essential to ensure a secure and seamless rental experience for all our clients.

Kindly allow us one (1) business day to complete this verification. Please ensure that your proof of residence is submitted on a weekday (Monday to Friday), as we are unable to process verifications over the weekend.

Once your proof of residence has been reviewed and confirmed, we will proceed with finalizing your booking and securing your chosen item(s).

Delivery Of Dresses

The dress will be delivered and collected by us during the following hours (09:00 – 18:00). The dresses are rented for a maximum of 3 (three) days. unless agreed otherwise in writing between you and us. The rental period may be extended upon request and subject to availability, and additional rental fees will apply.

Dress Inspection on delivery

When dress is delivered The Customer must inspect the dress(es) upon delivery and report any defects or issues immediately(about same hour of receiving).
The dress must not be worn before reporting the defect.
Stains, rips, missing embellishments, significant fabric damage or any defects of the dress should be reported immediately through clear photos.
Minor variations in colour due to lighting or screen display differences do not count as defects.

Please note that the colors of the dresses may appear slightly different in real life due to variations in lighting and display settings. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible, but slight color differences may occur

Late Fees

Delays in non-availability for us to collect the dress will incur additional (late) fees of R200 per day, late return fee will be charged to your credit card or deducted from your security fee (if applicable).

Serviceable Condition of dress

When we collect the dress it should be in good condition, without any alterations, stains or damages.
Any damage beyond normal wear and tear will result in deductions from the security fee.
Smoking while wearing the dress is strictly prohibited. If the dress is damaged, the cost of repairs will be deducted from the security fee. If the dress is lost or irreparably damaged, the security fee will be forfeited.

Security Fee

We will hold the security fee and refund it to you upon the Dress’s return in acceptable condition, as determined by us. Please note that the RENTAL FEE charged for a dress is Non-refundable.

Cleaning Dress

You are NOT responsible for professional cleaning of the dress, Please do not clean the dress yourself in any way.

IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE BACK THE DRESS AT ALL YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY THE FULL PRICE OF THE DRESS FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN THE COMPANY REPORTING THE CLIENT TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OR INITIATING LEGAL PROCEEDINGS.

Full Refund

If you cancel your rental at least 7 days before the start date, you will get a full refund of the rental fee.
Etc – If your rental starts on January 15, you must cancel by January 8 (or earlier) to receive the full refund.

Cancellation Fee

If you cancel less than 7 days before the start date, you will not receive a full refund. Instead, a fee of ZAR 250 will be deducted.
Etc- if your rental starts on January 15 and you cancel on January 10 or later, ZAR 250 will be charged as a cancellation fee.

We are not liable for any injuries, allergies, or damages that occur while the dress is rented.
You take full responsibility for the dress from the moment it is received until it is returned. Any disagreements related to this agreement will be resolved through mediation.
If mediation with a neutral party fails, the next step will be by Legal Action: The issue will be taken to court.

Availability of Dresses

Sometimes dresses will not be available. Unfortunately, we make no warranties or guarantees that the dress which is listed on the Website is available.
There may be situations in which things can happen which are out of our control and the may at short notice not be available anymore (for instance when the previous customer has not returned the dress or has damaged the dress).
We endeavour to give you as much notice as possible in the circumstances to allow you to make alternative arrangements and will refund any Rent Costs already paid if we cannot fulfil a Rent.

Booking Dresses

All sale items are final on our merchandise. No refunds or returns are accepted.
We do not accept returns and exchanges during the agreed rental period unless the dress was damaged upon receipt and unless dresses are damaged, defective.
Dresses can only be booked and reserved upon full payment of the total quoted rental fee together with the security fee.
You confirm that you are authorized to use this credit card or account. You also agree not to dispute the payment with your provider, provided we fulfill our responsibility to deliver the Products.
You also authorise us to charge against your credit card and/or deduct from the security fee for any additional fees as outlined in this Agreement such as e.g, late return fees, damage fees or full cost payment(if applicable).
We may ask you to either pay a security fee to cover any possible Late Fees, Replacement Fees, or Administrative Fees, or to provide credit card details to keep in case we need to charge these fees to you. If you have provided us with your credit card details then you authorise us to debit your card with any Late Fees, Replacement Fees or Administrative Fees payable in terms of the Terms and Conditions.

Minors

The same Terms and Conditions above apply to MINORS (customers under the age of
18)

Eligibility

Customers under the age of 18 (“Minors”) must have parental or legal guardian consent to rent dresses from Mia Dress Rentals.
The rental agreement must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of the minor.
Proof of age and identity may be required.

Parental or Guardian Responsibility

The parent or legal guardian is fully responsible for any and all obligations, including payment, damage, loss, or late returns.
The parent/guardian agrees to be bound by these terms and to ensure the minor complies with them.

Damage or Loss

If a rented dress is returned damaged (beyond normal wear and tear) or not returned at all, the parent or legal guardian will be held financially responsible for the repair or replacement costs.

Agreement

By signing below, the parent or legal guardian agrees to these Terms and Conditions and accepts full responsibility for the rental transaction on behalf of the minor.

General

Please note that the colours of the dresses may appear slightly different in real life due to variations in lighting and display settings. We strive to represent our products as accurately as possible, but slight colour differences may occur.
Do not borrow the dress forward to a friend or any other person in the time we rented it to you. We encourage a community of honesty as we will always deliver as expected.

Size Guide

The size guide is available on our website to ensure you are confident in the right fit you are getting.
You are welcomed to come to us and fit the dress first if interested in our dress. You will immediately ensure that the Products fits accordingly and are of the correct size, colour etc. before you leave with the dress.
